Our NGO organizes science education and scientific research activities aimed at solving Sustainable Development issues (water, food, energy, biodiversity, climate, etc.). It brings together volunteers of all ages who come to learn the techniques of these scientific disciplines by putting them into practice during Participatory Research Participatory Research see : http://www.voyages-scientifiques.com Stays (Discovery Classes, Scientific Vacation Camps, etc.). These training actions in Research through the practice of Research are organized as stays for school students, as vacation camps for children or teenagers, or as solidarity trips for adult or university participants, from companies or public organizations.
Our NGO includes several programs around different scientific themes (biodiversity, robotics, geology, astronomy), but also, for example, a program working towards access for girls and women to the practice of science or a program for social diversity in science.

Internship Description

Within the team of the participatory development program manager and in connection with other members of the marketing team, your mission will be to participate in the development of marketing and communication strategies aimed at promoting our programs and attracting new participants. You will be responsible for client management and acquisition through various channels (email marketing, social networks, advertising campaigns, etc.) while closely collaborating with the teams on the ground. The specifics of the internship will be defined based on the candidate's skills, their professional project, and the needs of the program.

Your Missions

The missions will include, in particular, the management and optimization of marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new participants for scientific stays. This will be achieved mainly through the following means:

Designing and implementing digital marketing campaigns
Analyzing and monitoring the performance of campaigns
Managing social networks and interacting with the community
Creating content (articles, newsletters, posts) to promote the NGO's programs
Monitoring contacts and managing the customer database
Supporting the organization of promotional events and participating in fairs/exhibitions to present our activities

Profile

Student or graduate, CAP, BTS, Master or higher level, in marketing, communication or business strategy
Autonomy, adaptability, and significant mobility
Experience in teamwork
Perfect command of spoken and written French, a good level of English will be useful
Skills in content writing and use of social networks
Knowledge of office and digital marketing tools (email marketing, CRM, etc.)
A strong interest in science education and sustainable development projects will be an asset

Conditions

The specific conditions will depend on the candidate's profile and the internship project developed together.

Your tasks

Depending on the exact project, your tasks might include performing some of the basic secretary/accounting duties such as:

Notre ONG organise des activités d'éducation aux sciences et de recherche scientifique en faveur de la résolution de problèmes de Développement Durable (eau, alimentation, énergie, biodiversité, climat…). Elle réunit des volontaires de tout âge qui viennent apprendre les techniques de ces disciplines scientifiques par leur mise en pratique dans le cadre de Séjours de Recherche Participative (Classes de Découvertes, Séjours de Vacances Scientifiques Vacances Scientifiques La vulgarisation scientifiqueest au cœur de notre projet. En effet, c'est un moyen ludique et citoyen de compléter des travaux scientifiques.

Lors des différentes missions, nous regroupons les données que nous avons récoltées et les partageons avec le monde de la recherche. Cela permet à tous ceux qui sont intéressés par la recherche scientifique, sans pour autant avoir une implication directe dans la recherche, de s'informer des dernières avancées
Ainsi, les jeunes, les étudiants et les amateurs peuvent enrichir la science par la pratique.
Mais ils peuvent également s'approprier des textes scientifiques grâces aux partages d'articles sur des plateformes citoyennes, notamment les réseaux sociaux.
Votre action contribue donc à l'avancée de la science !

L'exercice de vulgarisation scientifique prend différentes formes. Il peut s'agir de l'observation de différentes espèces animales : oiseaux, insectes, reptiles et mammifères, afin de les répertorier. Cela peut également s'appliquer à la biodiversité marine. La vulgarisation peut également être appliquée à la géologie grâce au développement des technologies satellites qui se sont démocratisées grâce à l'essor du drone (géo-référencement), et même dans le domaine de l'astronomie par la cartographie du ciel (détection d'exoplanètes et d'objets géocroiseurs). Mais la liste ne s'arrête pas là : grâce à des sondes et des vidéoprojecteurs vous pourrez percer le secret de la fabrique de cristaux et donc de l'assemblage de la matière, vous pourrez dater pierres et ruines archéologiques, et apprendre les propriétés des matériaux ancestraux, tout comme dater et reconnaître les fossiles de dinosaures qui jonchent le sol et même réaliser des moulages.
Les possibilités sont nombreuses et ne demandent qu'à être saisies.

L'expérimentation des nouvelles technologies de collecte scientifique fait partie intégrante de nos séjours. L'utilisation de la photographie numérique, des Spectrophotomètres, ainsi que de microscopes et de drones font partie du matériel que nous mettons à disposition dans nos colonies de vacances.
Les séjours que nous proposons sont aussi variés que les outils scientifiques à notre portée : observation de l'éclipse totale aux Etats-Unis en 2017, suivi des cétacés à Tahiti, ou encore découverte de la somptueuse panthère des neiges au Kirghizstan sont au programme.

Ces actions de formation à la Recherche par la pratique de la Recherche se déroulent sous la forme de séjours organisés pour les élèves des établissements scolaires, sous la forme de séjours de vacances pour enfants ou adolescents, ou encore sous la forme de voyages solidaires pour les participants adultes ou universitaires, d'entreprises ou d'organismes publiques.
Notre ONG comporte plusieurs programmes autour de différentes thématiques scientifiques (biodiversité, robotique, géologie, astronomie), mais également par exemple un programme œuvrant à l'accès des filles et des femmes à la pratique des sciences ou encore un programme de mixité sociale dans la science.

Description du stage

Dans l'équipe du responsable du programme de développement participatif et en lien avec les autres vendeurs de l'équipe, vous répondez au téléphone et renseignez les personnes qui veulent s'inscrire et se rendre actives sur nos voyages scientifiques, puis vous leur confirmez les informations par écrit (e-mail) et tenez à jour la fiche contact de ces personnes. L'objectif sera de satisfaire toutes les demandes d'informations dans les délais les plus courts, tout en vous faisant force de proposition dans les renseignements donnés à vos interlocuteurs au sujet des actions menées par l'ONG. Le détail du stage sera mis au point conjointement avec le responsable du programme en fonction des compétences propres du candidat, de son projet professionnel et des besoins du programme.

Vos missions

Les missions incluront notamment la remontée des personnes initialement renseignées et leur inscription sur le séjour de leur choix. Ceci sera réalisé notamment par les moyens suivants :

Profil

Étudiant(e) ou diplômé(e), niveau CAP, BTS, Master ou supérieur, en vente et force commerciale

Parfaite maîtrise du français oral, un anglais de qualité sera utile

Internship description

Under the responsibility of the director of Objectif Sciences International, you will design and implement an NGO translation project. You will translate pages in French from our website into Arabic to broaden our reach. Topics include science education and sustainable development. The exact details of the internship will be decided with the executive director of the NGO, taking into account the candidate's specific skills and their professional aims.

Your tasks

Depending on the project, the tasks may include:

Writing articles for the NGO websites
Creating press releases
Research assistance in writing and publishing press articles

Your Profile

A Student or a graduate, with Bachelor's degree or above, with training in fields relevant to the internship such as translation, language or literature.
Fluency in Arabic and French compulsory. Knowledge of other languages would be valuable.
Ability to adapt and mobility
Previous experience of team working, autonomy
Strong communication, writing and analytical skills
Open minded, interested in science education
