Create and manage a Science Stay Center

The exchange is as follows:

  • You receive a mandate from Objectif Sciences International,
  • You benefit from all the services provided by the NGO, including access to its network of participants in your region and globally,
  • You enjoy exclusivity in your area (there will be no competing Centers throughout the duration of the agreement).

In return for these numerous advantages, Objectif Sciences International asks you to:

  • Implement all action programs established for the NGO’s network (Holiday Workshops, Discovery Classes, Research Programs...), including the hosting of groups,
  • Prioritize the services of the Resource Center for any existing services,
  • Conduct only activities that fall within the programs of Objectif Sciences International.

Thus, we observe three main areas of exchange, each perfectly balanced.

 Bylaws

You can either create your own association, in which case we provide you with the standard Bylaws for a Science Stay Center in effect at other Centers, or if your association already exists, you will need to make the necessary adjustments to your existing Bylaws.

 Membership Fee

To receive the mandate from the NGO Objectif Sciences International, its services, its protection, and to benefit from its impact both internationally and in your region, you contribute to the operation of the Resource Center through your membership fee. This fee is proportional to your activities, while the provision of services, conversely, is inversely proportional. In other words, the more you are in the start-up phase, the more the Resource Center supports you, with a membership fee significantly lower than the actual cost of all the services provided.

All the support and services provided by the Resource Center, when combined, cost 4 to 8 times less than if they were individually requested from various for-profit service providers (with a profit margin) and 2 to 3 times less than if they were provided by internal employees at the Center, who would then require ongoing training in the specific nature of the field by the Management.

Additionally, the quality of services provided by the Resource Center benefits from the highly associative nature of a cohesive team committed to the Science Stay Centers project.

 Service Fees

Certain services offered by the headquarters, but not implemented by the Resource Center, are not included in the membership fee, which only covers services provided by the Resource Center. In the case of using these other services (see below), separate fees may be considered.

 Mandate

In the agreement that binds us, you receive the mandate to:

  • Implement, first and foremost, Research Programs, Educational Programs, Research and Education Programs, either at the Center or elsewhere globally,
  • Organize Science Holiday Camps for ages 7–18,
  • Run Scientific Discovery Classes for ages 5–30 (from primary school to university),
  • Arrange Science Solidarity Leave Missions for those over 16 with no upper age limit,
  • Host Excellence Meetings for ages 13–20,
  • Promote Scientific Journalism through itinerant language immersion stays,
  • Host Residencies for Scientists,
  • Organize Conferences, Seminars, Round Tables, Markets (e.g., crystal markets), and Student Retreats,
  • Set up Educational Scientific Challenges for primary and secondary schools or universities,
  • Host Groups and Families for both scientific and non-scientific events (e.g., weddings, birthdays) to raise awareness of the location and the Science Stay Center.

In exchange for implementing this mandate, your organization benefits from all the network’s impact at your level (grants, donations, sponsorships, patronage, registrations, volunteering, recommendations, etc.). This mandate is exclusive, meaning you must gradually implement it in full (sometimes over more than 10 years of growth) without undertaking any competing activities. For example, dedicating time and energy to a different field, such as skiing, would prevent you from fulfilling the mandate of science education and research for sustainable development.

 Services

With this mandate in your area, you also gain access to all services provided by the Resource Center, along with additional services. Currently, these services are organized as follows:

Included as part of the Resource Center membership fee:

  • Marketing & Development
  • Administration & Logistics
  • Science & Pedagogy
  • Publications & Communication

Available with specific billing:

  • Architecture and financing services for building purchases, construction, renovation, and/or rehabilitation projects,
  • Project Funds for financing your projects and growth,
  • Associative sales team to increase registrations for your Center’s activities,
  • Purchasing platform for consolidating the needs of all Science Stay Centers,
  • Training for any activities outside the Resource Center,
  • Support for the creation of businesses, foundations, and associations, whether for your needs (in creating your Science Stay Center) or for initiatives generated by your Science Stay Center (e.g., a Nature Protection Foundation, an association for creating educational games, a water treatment company...)
  • and any other service created as needed.

The headquarters develops expertise tailored to your situation as it already serves other Science Stay Centers around the world.

In exchange for benefiting from these services perfectly suited to your needs, you commit to prioritizing these services whenever they are available in the Resource Center or headquarters catalog.

 Mutual Exclusivity

The relationship is mutual. In exchange for an exclusive mandate in your region (Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North Africa, Middle East, Central Africa, North America, Central America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Indian Ocean, South Pacific, Japan...), you commit to exclusively implementing actions from the Objectif Sciences International network.
